Monsoon Notes
Field notes · India · Volume 01

After the rain,
another way of seeing.

A quiet collection of notes on the everyday textures of India: tea at dawn, old railway platforms and the patient rhythm of the monsoon.

01 / Morning rituals

The first cup

Before the street fills with conversation, a kettle begins to sing. Cardamom, ginger and black tea lend the morning a familiar warmth. There is no single recipe: each kitchen keeps its own balance.

02 / Through the window

Between stations

Long journeys invite a slower attention. A platform, a passing field, a row of trees reflected in standing water. The view changes, but the gentle rhythm remains.

03 / Seasons

Waiting for rain

Clouds gather above the rooftops. The first drops lift the scent of warm earth, and a dry afternoon becomes a different place. Small changes are sometimes the ones we remember.

A journal, not an itinerary.
